Resonate Church

East Asia

Mountains are the home for this people group. This team will spend most of their time on University campuses developing relationships with students while participating in events such as English corners, parties, and outdoor activities. The team will also be traveling out among the villages and country towns of these people with the hope of telling them about Jesus. Team members should be adventuresome, teachable, and flexible to be fully dependent on God to use them to bring the message of hope to these people.

India

Long Term Trip
India--one of the most religious places in the world. When you visit India, you are surrounded by evidence of religion: mosques and temples, shrines and idols, call to prayer and bells to wake gods, incense and offerings. You are needed here, because the one religion you won't see evidence of, the celebrations you won't see here are the ones honoring Jesus Christ.

This team will be prayerwalking--opening the way for God's Spirit to move through the area by prayer. Personal evangelism--most people here have never seen or spoken to a believer, have never heard of what Jesus can do in a person's life. Literature distribution--this is a state where the word of God is not available on every street, where there is very limited broadcast of the truth of Jesus on radio or TV. You can make a change in every one of these areas.

Thailand

Long Term Trip
Work with a non-profit organization that is helping Thai individuals leave prostitution and find healing physically, emotionally and spiritually. Build relationships with young guys working in the red-light districts (the ministry only allows females to go inside the bars) and build relationships in the slum communities with young guys struggling with their gender identity, hoping to prevent them from pursuing a life of sexual addiction and prostitution. Team members are to be a healthy friend and hang out with these young guys/lady boys as a part of a healing process.

High School Trip
This team will go into local high schools and build relationships with high school students with the purpose of telling them about Jesus! Use English as a tool to help develop relationships. This team will also work with local missionaries and a local church to reach their neighborhood by hosting an English corner.

Mexico

This team will be working with a local church to help host several Vacation Bible Schools in two neighborhoods that the church has began work in. This team will have the opportunity to work with over 150 children each day, and build relationships with their families. There will also be opportunities for this team to help build homes for people who do not yet have homes.
