Resonate Church

As most stories go, so goes this one. It began with a man, a woman, and a dream to change the world.

In December of 2007, 5 people, who would later be called Resonate Church, started meeting in a coffee shop in Pullman, WA. For 9 months we continued to gather and invite people to what we were calling "The Resonate Sessions." Each week we shared a meal together and opened the scriptures and dreamed about what church could be. We told people, "If what we're talking about "Resonates" with you, please stick around." That gathering grew from 5 to 50.

On August 19th, 2008, Resonate Church had their first large group public worship gathering. We launched with the mission of reaching college students at Washington State University and the University of Idaho. In August of 2009 we launched a service in Moscow, ID, closer to the U of I students.

In our first 4 years God has given us grace and favor beyond our expectation. We've seen students come to Christ and been able to celebrate over 100 baptisms. Since 2007 our group has grown from 5 to 50 to 500 in our weekly gatherings.

We're grateful for what God has done, but we press on knowing there is still much work to do. We are confident God has more for us this year and we look forward to playing our part in what He's doing to reach the Palouse with the rescue of Jesus.
